Givenchy - Fall Winter Collection 2013/14 in Paris
The halle freyssinet resonated emotion to the sound of antony and the johnsons with "the heritage orchestra" as the soundtrack to the givenchy collection.
the magic happens with the first looks with models sporting red hair as riccardo tisci wanted them to resemble roses. the show opens with an urban wardrobe with a straight zipped skirt and a sweater with the effigy of bambi which rapidly transforms, under the influence of his gypsy inspiration. floral prints and graphic patchworks invade silhouettes that blend femininity with masculinity with biker jackets or zipped collarless bomber jackets and long skirts.
the new garment is also inspired by how gypsy women wear their jackets, attached at the waist and under the direction of the designer it cinches the waist. natalia vodianova gracefully closed the show in a long belted sweater with geometric patterns over a long gored transparent skirt, embroidered in sequins on the bottom revealing her long feline legs.
