Best of Haute Couture : 33 shows, celebrities and mind-blowing décor!

Paris beats to the rhythm of haute couture. 33 shows in four days. cameras flashed outside the shows to catch a glimpse of the stars’ arrivals and on the catwalk to capture the most beautiful looks and silhouettes. dior opened the dreamlike festivities. under the traditionally extravagant tent in the musée rodin, maria grazia chiuri carried us off to the world of surrealism with kinetic and hypnotic dresses and an atmosphere that continued well into the night for a masked ball. surrealism is also the keystone for maison schiaparelli, where we find codes dear to the founder. yet this time, bertrand guyon carries us away to a more distant land: africa! raffia jackets and lizard and python marquetry create a desire for all things exotic.chanel invites us to a french garden, built beneath the glass roof of the grand palais with a show of short springtime dresses, in endlessly renewed tweed, showcasing the savoir-faire of the ateliers… plus a bride in trousers, preceded by the sweetest pageboy. it’s again a child, at all of three years old, who melts the hearts of an audience already won over at jean-paul gaultier. the most touching mother and daughter duo. a show strong in emotion with an homage to pierre cardin, presented in the room where jean-paul made his took his first steps in fashion aged 18 years old. a choice front row with loyal friends and international stars. on the stage: creative and glimmering fashion. another highlight, the givenchy collection, the first couture collection designed by clare waight keller, presented in the half-lit rooms of the national archives. couture that is both sensual and radical, delicate and structured, building on the past to reinvent couture, which even addresses the men! couture that revisits classics. this is also the central theme for the latest valentino collection conceived by pierpaolo piccioli, with an ode to colours and generous volumes. a fashion lesson dubbed by monsieur valentino and donatella versace, sitting in the front row. a sexier but still desirable vision at alexandre vauthier, who injects very contagious positive energy with impressive casting. a season which ends and couture that once again shines a light on paris with masterful collections! music royalty free: bandit & nikit
