Marine Serre - Women's Spring/Summer 2020 collection in Paris
Designer: marine serreinspiration: an oil spill, a catwalk set up in the middle of the auteuil racecourse fields in paris, a path covered in black plastic and a metal cylinder as seating for the guests. the designer, who is strongly committed to eco-responsible fashion, is focusing today on climate change. collection: a wardrobe that starts with black, apocalyptic silhouettes. colour then begins to appear. we find the crescent moon, the signature pattern of the designer, on flowing outfits. beach towels are restyled into dresses and head turbans. the recycled plastic raincoats are stamped on the back with the name of the collection.caftans, bourgeois suits, neoprene jumpsuits, crochet dresses and lace and wool sheath dresses, all complete this summer ward-robe made with available scrap fabric. music from the show (for use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information).
