Designer: tommy hilfiger x lewis hamilton for the spring/summer 2020inspiration: the formula 1 champion lewis hamilton presented, for the fourth season, his new collection designed with tommy hilfiger, mixing sportswear, a navy spirit, adventure and high tech. a collection that was shown at the tate modern in london, wanting to highlight inclusion above all, a desire that we find on the catwalk.collection: reflective sweatshirts, parkas and accessories and t-shirts and trousers with graffiti patterns. the initial “h” is found embossed on the back of a jacket. it’s about large petticoats, blazers and navy backpacks that even use the american flag. comfort reigns, with a young wardrobe, especially designed for all body types.to note: an incredible casting including naomi campbell who opens the show, georgia may jagger, luka sabbat, alessandra ambrosio, pixie geldof…& invited by tommy and lewis, the american singer h.e.r, present in the room, also signed 12 pieces from the collection. with interviews:tommy hilfiger:he’s got a good heart and soul, that’s what i love about him, he cares about his family, his friends, he cares about people’s feelings, he’s not like a superstar who has a big head and only cares about himself. lewis hamilton:i love tommy, again i think he’s just got the greatest heart but his loyalty, his kindness, he’s very very gracious and it’s all about being good to other people and he’s been so good to me and created an opportunity for me to explore and be able to express myself and learn from one of the greatest.it’s all about inclusivity, it’s a unisex collection, we’ve got it up to 75% sustainable so it’s the most sustainable collection that we have and it’s the most diverse, you’re going to see people of different size and shapes and ages and ethnic background so it’s going to be great to see everyone being so included. music from the show (to use only in context of the show, under cover of the right to information)
